ID at the door
Under Ontario law, a person under 19 may not go into a casino or remain there; only staff at work are exempt. The house rule matches: the minimum age for any guest is 19, and valid photo ID from a government is required. Guests aged 21 or under must also show a second ID with their name on it. A guest aged 19, for example, brings both.
Self-exclusion means a person has asked to be kept out of gambling for a set time. No visit is allowed for anyone who has been trespassed from, or has self-excluded from, this casino or any gaming property in Ontario. The check tool on this page explains these rules step by step.
Will the ID get you in?

19+ with photo ID
Entry is for ages 19 and up with valid government-issued photo ID; at 21 or under, a second ID bearing the name is needed too. A person trespassed from, or self-excluded (barred at their own request) from, this casino or any gaming property in Ontario may not visit.
On the casino floor
The slot machines range from penny games to $5.00 denominations. They include video slots, stepper slots, also called reel slots, and keno games. The number of machines is not published by the casino.
An Electronic Table Games Lounge is on the casino floor. At an electronic table, each player sits at a screen and plays at their own pace. The game list and number of seats are not published. Live tables have a dealer at the table. The casino gives no count of these tables, no list of games and no hours, and it names no poker room.

Food and services
Getaway is the casino's fully licensed restaurant and bar, open every day. Breakfast is served from 9:30 am to 11 am, and then the regular menu runs from 11 am to 9 pm. On offer are light meals, snacks and drinks. For a quick bite, the bar has grab-and-go food.
Other services include ABMs (bank machines), lottery and currency exchange. The building is set up for access by customers with disabilities. Staff provide communication supports, accessible formats or a wheelchair to any guest who asks for them. A players card records play for points; the casino's card is My Club Rewards, and members collect points at table games and slot machines. Membership costs nothing; a guest joins by showing valid ID to staff at the Guest Services desk.
The drive to Bay Street
Each distance here runs straight from the casino to the map point of each town. Bruce Mines is 49 km away and Blind River 113 km. Elliot Lake is 130 km, and Wawa, to the north, is 167 km. Sudbury lies 257 km to the east, and Thunder Bay 425 km to the north-west. The city's own map point is 0.9 km from the casino.
The drive covers more ground than these lines, because roads run longer. The distance tool below opens a route from a chosen town. The casino has no hotel, and it does not publish a shuttle or a city bus stop.

Online play in Ontario
Ontario has a regulated online casino market. The AGCO, the regulator, must register every private site, which also needs an operating agreement from iGaming Ontario (iGO). A directory of the authorized sites is published by iGO, and any site can be checked there. OLG.ca is the government-run online casino. Online play is limited to people who are at least 19 and physically present in Ontario.
A site that takes Ontario players without AGCO registration is not a legal operator in Ontario. On the home page, every Ad link goes to one private partner: an online casino from which the guide receives a commission. Readers can check that partner in the iGO directory. The partner can change.
Where to find help
- ConnexOntario runs a help line for problem gambling that is free and confidential: phone 1-866-531-2600 at any hour, send the text CONNEX to 247247, or chat online at connexontario.ca.
- OLG runs My PlayBreak, a self-exclusion program (a ban people place on themselves) that keeps them out of all Ontario casinos; to enrol, call 1-800-387-0098, ask staff at a casino or go to a PlaySmart Centre.
- BetGuard is run by iGaming Ontario at betguard.ca; it removes a person from each regulated site for online gambling in Ontario, OLG.ca included.
